Vicovu de Sus (Romanian pronunciation: [ˌvikovu de ˈsus]; German: Oberwikow) is a town in northern Suceava County, on the border with Ukraine. The town administers one village, Bivolărie.

It was bought by Ştefan cel Mare for Putna Monastery in the year 1466. The locality, previously a rural commune, received town status in 2004.
79.05% of the town's residents are Romanian Orthodox, with 19.47% being Pentecostal and 1.26% Baptist.[1]
According to the census from 2002 there was a total population of 14,125 people living in this town. Of this population, 97.27% are ethnic Romanians, 2.66% ethnic Rroma, 0.04% ethnic Ukrainians and 0.02% ethnic Germans.[2]
